STRATA

TERREBONNE, OREGON

Perched above cavernous ravines and cascading falls, this mountain modern primary bath remodel draws deeply from the dramatic landscape surrounding the home. The design intention set out to capture the essence of mountain contemporary style, using an earthy, textural palette and tile that emulates the natural sediment and stratified cliffs just outside.

Contemporary rose-gold and matte-black bathroom fixtures bring a warm, modern contrast to the space, complementing the organic presence of an integrated concrete sink and backsplash. A custom steel mirror frame adds definition and highlights the balance between rugged materials and refined, high-end finishes.

By reimagining the layout, this primary bath renovation thoughtfully prioritizes the space to improve function, flow, and everyday comfort. Every square inch is intentionally utilized, ensuring the bathroom works efficiently for the clients while maintaining a clean, contemporary aesthetic.

The result is a deeply connected, design-forward retreat—steeped in the mountain landscape, elevated with modern craftsmanship and tailored for timeless living.

BEFORE/AFTER TRANSFORMATION

Slide the image to experience the WOW.

Our existing space was small, outdated, poorly laid out and simply did not function. We wanted a separate water closet, soaking tub, shower & vanity that still allowed us to capture our mountain views.

Samantha came up with a design that checked all those boxes and more. It involved taking the space down to the studs and moving all plumbing. We ended up with a stunning wet room that included a steam shower with built-in bench, rain head, hand held, and soaking tub with an automatic drying system- all of which we can enjoy the mountain views from. The design also included a separate water closet and larger vanity that doubled our original storage. We are stunned with the end result and absolutely love it!
